Rubber sheet 5mm thick is made from standard-grade SBR material with a specific gravity of 1.9 and a Shore A hardness of 80. Compared to lower-density grades, this sheet is more rigid but lacks the elasticity and wear resistance of higher-quality compounds. It is primarily used in industrial settings where cost control is more critical than long-term durability or performance under stress. The solid rubber sheet structure maintains basic compression and impact absorption functions, making it suitable for temporary gaskets, simple padding layers, low-speed mechanical isolation, or low-wear lining surfaces. The 5mm thickness offers some buffer capacity, while the high hardness ensures a firm surface response under moderate static loads.
Recommended for basic industrial applications where the material will not be exposed to oils, chemicals, or outdoor conditions. This type is often used in warehouse flooring underlays, basic sealing strips, or as an economic solution for non-critical insulation purposes. It is manufactured to ASTM standard and meets SGS / REACH / RoHS2.0 compliance for general safety and environmental requirements.
